The
Clarinet Section
London's Leading Sextet
The Clarinet Section, a sextet of
leading London based professional players, has been formed with the intention of
exploring the extant original repertoire whilst also inspiring and performing
new and challenging music.
The Clarinet Section utilises the
entire range of clarinets - twelve different types! - and thus is able to offer
an exceptionally wide dynamic and tonal range. In addition to concert
performances the group presents informative and entertaining demonstration
recitals and workshops incorporating early and ethnic clarinets and the full
family of saxophones.
